Phil Noto ~ Superhero Candids
My favorite is Sue staring at Johnny in the UN Lobby.

This is beautiful photography of a beautiful costume…
The tree stump one though. I imagine a player digging around for mushrooms and a Balmora guard slowly rises up, “Following the law? Yes? Good.” Then they sink back down.
^ Reblogging for that comment.
It killed me.
I spat my drink out and fell out of my chair.
I am deceased.

Blizzcon was an amazing convention to attend. It was my first time attending, even though I had started playing WoW in 2006 and my boyfriend grew up on Blizzard’s games.

Just let that sink in for a moment. 1 link share, and now 10,000 eyes viewing your work.
I haven’t wrote about this because I don’t know what to make of it. I thought 580 was a lot, and now I’m overwhelmed. I’m thankful to Jessica Nigri for sharing my work, obviously, but I do feel a lot of pressure to make better cosplays now. That being said, having a large audience is an incredible motivator to make something you really believe in. I don’t think the nature of my costumes will change, though I really want to increase my skill level in all sorts of areas.
SIDE NOTE: Currently I’m working on Poison Ivy, BAS DLC Elizabeth and a Riddler and a Rubick costume for my bf. Hopefully posting about these costumes makes me finish them faster. Har har har.
I never did a post-con writeup of Nekocon or Blizzcon, mostly because I suck and have been somewhat quiet lately.
Nekocon was great because the voice cast of Borderlands 2 was there, along with the writer for Borderlands 2, Anthony Burch. He and Ashly Burch also did Hey Ash Watcha Playin’ panels there as well. I think I went to just about every panel they appeared in. My boyfriend cosplayed as Anthony in the Hot Slutz video for a HAWP panel, and Anthony tweeted a picture of him. We are both huge fans of the Burches, so meeting them and chatting for a short moment was a huge highlight of the con and worth the awkward glances he (and I, consequently) received.
Picture of said cosplay with Anthony:
I’m not sure I would have gone to Nekocon if they had not been there— the con is VERY small and the host hotel for the con is crazy expensive.
3D Printed 3D Maneuver Gear Part II
Finished the handle of the 3DM gear yesterday and finished printing it last night. Some tweaks have to be made, but otherwise I am quite pleased with the result. You may notice that there are a few pieces missing, specifically pieces that involve cord. These will be added after I buy my cord to ensure that everything fits correctly
Reblogging for the night crew - and in the hopes that these photos will actually appear on my page properly this time.
